Description
Radio telescope and an outbuilding at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Green Bank, West Virginia. A radio telescope has several main parts: a dish and antenna, a receiver, a detector, and an analyzer. It collects radio signals from space and focuses them on the antenna. A larger dish, such as that on this 100-meter-diameter Robert C. Byrd radio telescope, will collect voluminous radio waves and lead to a stronger signal at the antenna.
